In short: Blink is an AI planning and productivity assistant, operated by Sire Run, Inc. We collect only what we need to run the product for you — your account details, the tasks and events you create, and what you tell your coach. We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't track you across other apps or websites. Some of what you share can count as consumer health data; that category has its own separate policy with extra protections.

1. Who we are

Blink is operated by Sire Run, Inc. When this policy says "we," "us," or "Blink," it means Sire Run, Inc. If you have a question about your data or this policy, email support@coachblink.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account data. Your name and email address (from sign-up, or from Sign in with Apple or Google if you use those), and your timezone. If you sign in with Apple's private-relay email, we use the relay address you're given.
  • Your content. The tasks, reminders, calendar events, mood check-ins, and notes you create in the app, plus anything you say to the AI coach in chat.
  • Calendar you connect. If you connect Apple Calendar or Google Calendar, we read and write the events needed to keep your schedule and Blink in sync. You can disconnect at any time.
  • Email task-scan (only if you turn it on). If you connect Gmail, Blink reads your messages read-only to suggest tasks. We store only the extracted task title and a short justification — never the raw email bodies.
  • Product interaction. Basic, non-identifying information about how the app is used, so we can fix bugs and improve it. We do not use this to track you across other companies' apps or sites.

Some of the above — especially mood check-ins and what you tell your coach about focus, attention, or emotional state — can count as consumer health data under state laws. That specific category is governed by our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which adds consent and handling protections on top of this one.

3. Device permissions

Blink asks for a permission only when a feature needs it, and explains why at the moment it asks:

  • Microphone & speech. So you can talk to your coach instead of typing. Speech is transcribed on your device.
  • Face ID. So you can unlock the app without retyping your password. Face ID data never leaves your device — that's handled by iOS, not by us.
  • Calendar. So your scheduled tasks and events appear alongside everything else on your calendar.

Blink does not access your camera, photo library, or location.

4. How we use your data

  • To run the core product: create and schedule your tasks, keep your calendar in sync, and remember what you ask us to remember.
  • To personalize your coaching, so Blink responds to how you actually work.
  • To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
  • To contact you about your account or important service changes.

We do not use your content to serve advertising, and we do not sell it.

5. Who else sees your data

We share data only with service providers that help us run Blink, and only for that purpose:

  • AI provider. Your chat content is processed by the AI service that powers the coach's replies, under a contract that limits its use to providing the service — not for that provider's own model training, advertising, or resale.
  • Sign-in providers. Apple and Google, when you choose Sign in with Apple or Google.
  • Google Workspace APIs. If you connect Google Calendar or Gmail, to read and write the data those features require.
  • Infrastructure providers. The hosting and database services that store your data securely on our behalf.

We do not send your data to advertising networks, data brokers, or general-purpose analytics companies. We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

6. Data security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Sensitive fields are additionally encrypted in our database. We never log the raw content of your coaching conversations in production system logs, and internal access is limited to what's needed to run and support the product.

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your data from our active systems and backups, not just the parts you can see in the app. We may retain limited records where the law requires it.

8. Your rights and choices

At any time you can:

  • See and edit what Blink remembers about you, from the Notes and Memory screen.
  • Turn off memory if you'd rather Blink not retain notes between sessions.
  • Disconnect a connected calendar or Gmail account.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Delete your account and its data from Settings.

Most of these are self-service in the app's Settings. For anything that isn't, or to make a data request, email support@coachblink.com.

9. Children

Blink is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we collect, use, or share your data, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.

Blink is not a medical device, therapist, or substitute for professional care. It is a planning, coaching, and organization assistant.
